What is Refraction?

We are a brand new Garry's Mod Community; we have been working on our games and system for the past year. We want to make a great place for players; and the website has everything our users could want!

How does Refraction work?

You may be wondering "How do I register?" Well you can't, not yet at least. When you join any Refraction server, you are immediately prompted to create an account. When you do so, you should create a user name you like (you will be using it to access your account on the website) and also remember your password, because when you come back to the site you will need to login to access EVERYTHING. Right now you won't be able to access anything on the site, except maybe existing profiles, anyway. Once logged in, you'll have many options on what you can do, I'll show you a bit of the features we have...

Customization

When logged in, users can customize many parts of the site, such as the color. Here, try it out!

Forums

Our forums are simple, but different from any other Garry's Mod community, here's how.

I based the thread view off the envato forums, then I added my own flare to it.

Posting is simple; the BBCode bar allows easy post customization.

A whole new style of viewing threads, the top right of each reply shows off that users rank in the community.

But! Our forums have so many more features that you'll just have to wait to see!

Donations made simple - Keep the community alive

Our donation system is 100% live and animated. The minute you donate you get the credit you deserve for doing so.

As a player, you have the option to donate for VIP status, as a VIP you get a ton of benefits, such as new minigames, access to more servers, better income in games, more options, etc.

Profiles

Each user gets a fully customizable profile. Right now the profiles are set to display data for our upcoming Roleplay game, however once I update profiles, they will display data from all our games.

Well, that's not all!

I can't even begin to explain what we have planned for the community, You'd get WAY to excited.

On top of what we have planned, we have existing content, such as our Zombie Master game in Garry's Mod, which is done. Also many online games, such as our slot machines.

You'll notice alot of the site isn't done, as a guest you can't view what is done regardless, but I will be cleaning up the site as time goes on.
